This tape machinie Revox B 77 has two speeds:
7.5 IPS / 15 IPS
This is an original factory high-speed machine, not a later modification.
The unit has been fully restored and is in excellent cosmetic and technical condition.
The following work was done by our professional technician:
- - Unit completely disassembled
- - All parts cleaned
- - All mechanical assemblies lubricated and adjusted
- - 2 tape counter belts replaced
- - Capstan shaft refurbished
- - Housing stripped, sandblasted, and recoated; new metal carrying handle installed
- - Reel tables sandblasted and recoated
- - New connector socket box from Techtrader
- - All ball bearings replaced
- - Excellent condition of the tape heads
- - All electrolytic capacitors replaced
- - All tantalum capacitors replaced
- - Relays on audio boards replaced
- - All light bulbs replaced
- - Unit reassembled and adjusted
- - Test run
