This unit was manufactured in Mitlödi, Canton Glarus, Switzerland, in the late 1960s.
It is a modular stereo amplifier using transistor technology. For its time, the device was extremely advanced.Modular preamplifier and power amplifier sections, excellent connection panel, and a very attractive wooden cabinet.
The problem was that the amplifier was far too expensive. The list price in 1967 was CHF 1490.--. Too much for a relatively unknown product. Today, however, they are highly sought-after.
This amplifier comes from the former Komet factory and has been restored, although it is new. Some capacitors have been replaced as a precaution.The wooden cabinet has a scratch. See photo.
