EMT 930 Turntable

Rare, early EMT 930 Studio turntable. 

This offer includes ONE EMT 930 studio turntable with serial number 3429, so a very early model.

The turntable is equipped with an Ortofon/EMT stereo tonearm.It features an original EMT 199 tube phono preamplifier, serial number 3167.

A Shure MM cartridge is installed in the cartridge.

The unit was in operation at the Bern radio studio. There are virtually no signs of wear on the chassis or tonearm.

This tube mono preamplifier (without a step-up transformer) is ideal for mono and 78 rpm record enthusiasts, as it features a built-in equalizer for precise adjustment of various equalization settings and characteristics.

The unit has been serviced, functionally tested, and fitted with a new idler wheel.It is unrestored. It is extremely rare to find one in its original, unmodified condition.

If you wish, we can have the turntable restored by our specialized technician.This is a 50 Hz, 220 V version.No warranty; sold as is.
