Fully restored Studer A 810 Tape Recorder

This VU model has been completely restored by a specialist in Studer models. The following work has been carried out:

- Device completely dismantled and cleaned
- All electrolytic capacitors replaced
- All cup capacitors in the power supply replaced
- All interference suppression capacitors replaced
- Mains filter replaced
- Capstan motor overhauled
- Pressure roller replaced
- All bulbs replaced
- Tape tensioners overhauled
- Reel plates sandblasted and repainted
- Software 01.88 (most stable version) loaded onto new EEPROM and installed
- RAM replaced with NVRAM (no more backup battery)
- Device mechanically and electrically recalibrated
- Calibrated on tape A: SM911 510nWb/m @ +6dB, tape B: SM900 510nWb/m@ +6dB
- Wooden side panels made from SIPO mahogany and newly installed

The device shows virtually no signs of wear. The machine was calibrated to SM 911.

Serial number 3445

It is a 7.5 cm / 19 cm / 38 cm. A calibration report is available.
