International version (Oxyd in)

With this device, Telefunken has created a milestone. This machine was extremely popular. Practically all German broadcast were equipped with M 15 A models.

There were two versions of this device. The German version (Oxyd out) or the international version (oxyd in).  Significantly fewer sets of the international version were manufactured because the German radio stations and television stations (except ZDF) worked exclusively with the German oxyd out version. That's why the international version is much rarer and much more desired.

In addition to the excellent sound and extremely easy operation, the device also has the following major advantage over the competing model Studer A 80: It is equipped with two runners so that it can also be set up on a table or furniture without having to use a bulky trolley.

The supply of spare parts and ease of service are extremely good.

The sound characteristics can be described as outstanding.

The machine has two speeds. 7.5 IPS and 15 IPS (19 and 38 cm) The connection terminal is equipped with XLR sockets and plugs. And the device comes with the original tape plates and AEG adapters. It can handle up to 12 inch / 30 cm reels.

It is totally restored by a very experienced Telefunken technician.

The optical condition is excellent. Nearly no signs of wear.
